  1. “Office Talk” was developed by Buster Company b.v. based in Amsterdam. Trade Register Chamber of Commerce Amsterdam, no. 82407401.
  2. Buster Company b.v. holds all the intellectual property rights for the Office Talk app.
  3. Office Talk app is an AR virtual office room for mobile phones. This is a training tool that you can play on your mobile phone based on new Augmented Reality (AR) technology. AR is a technology where virtual objects are placed in real-world space.
  4. You can download the app on your mobile phone from the Apple Appstore and Google Playstore.
  5. The Office Talk app is focusing on users who are 16 years and older.
  6. The Office Talk app is part of a company training program and is part of this program free to download. No in-app purchases will occur.
  7. Buster Company b.v. is not liable for any damages resulting from the use or misuse of the app.
  8. The separate Privacy Statement states how Buster Company handles your personal data.
  9. Buster Company b.v. is continually developing and optimizing its services. Buster Company b.v. reserves the right to change these Terms of Use. The changes to these Terms of Use will be made available in a new release of the Office Talk app in the Apple App Store and Google Play store. You should therefore make sure you regularly check for updates of the Office Talk app. If you do not agree with the changes, then stop using the app.
  10. These Terms of Use are governed by Dutch Law. Any disputes will be brought before the competent court in Amsterdam.

Privacy Statement for the Office Talk app

This is the Privacy Statement of Buster Company b.v. that applies to the use of the Office Talk app. The Office Talk app is an AR virtual office room for a mobile phone that uses new Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Read the Privacy Statement carefully before making certain choices concerning the use of the app.

What type of personal data is processed?

When you first install the app, you will be asked to enter the access login access tokens supplied for participation of the training program. Next, you will be asked to give permission for the use of your camera for the operation of AR. No recordings will be made at any moment during the usage of the Office Talk app.

If you use the app, we will process the following data:

a) Your mobile device ID (your advertising ID for iOS or Android)
b) Your unique login and access token
c) Version of the app
d) Type of device and software version
e) The user’s game data

On what basis do we process your data?

We process the above-mentioned data to execute the agreement that you enter with us when you use the app. In addition, we can have a legitimate interest in the processing of the above data.

For what purposes do we use personal data?

We process the data mentioned above for the following purposes:
a) Compiling user statistics at an aggregate level.
b) We cannot link your personal data to in-game data, choices of selections.
c) We do not use your data to send you advertisements of Buster Company b.v.

Target group

The app is specifically not aimed at children under the age of 16. Buster Company b.v. advises parents or guardians to take an active role in supervising the online activities of children.

Sharing your data with third parties

Buster Company works with companies that help us provide our services, such as ICT service providers. Buster Company has taken organizational and contractual measures to protect your personal data and to impose security and privacy requirements on our service providers, including the requirement that your personal data can be processed solely for the above-mentioned purposes.

Cookies

Buster Company b.v. uses analytical tools the measure the use of the app. This allows us to determine which components are most interesting and user-friendly. The statistics and reports from this cannot be traced back to individual persons. This also enables us to optimize the app.

Changes to the Privacy Statement

Buster Company is continually developing and optimizing its services. Buster Company b.v. reserves the right to change this Privacy Statement. The changes to this Privacy Statement will be made available with a new release of the Office Talk app in the Apple App Store or Google Play store. You should therefore make sure you regularly check for updates of the Office Talk app. If you do not agree with the changes, then stop using the app.

Your rights

a) You have the right to access your personal data
b) Is your data incorrect? If so, you have the right to rectification and you can ask us to change your details.
c) You can always ask us to erase your data. Insofar as this is possible and permitted, we will do this. However, we are not always required to, nor can we always do this. If the law requires us to keep your data for a longer period.
d) You can always ask us to temporarily limit the use of your personal data. We can do so in the following cases:
a. You think your personal data is not correct.
b. We are using your personal data incorrectly.
c. We want to destroy your personal data, but you still need them, for example after the retention period.
d. Do you wish to receive the data you have given us because you gave us permission and/or the data we store for the execution of the agreement? That is called ‘data portability.
e. You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. We do not always honour this objection.
